The following practical advice on the theme of "conventional x-ray therapy", radiation physics and normative and legal basics for the use of X-rays are listed.



Our units T-105, T-160, T-200 und T-300 are stationray devices, for which we create detailled planning.
The radiation protection of buildings has to consider DIN 6812 .

The output parameters of our units T-105, T-160, T-200 und T-300 are monitored during operation permanently. A network of quality-assurance measures provide a high standard of safety. The following modules are part of integrated quality assurance system of our equipment:

- daily functional test
At turn on the system, all relevant sensors and actuators are subjected to an automatic function test. Thereafter, the equipment will be launched in operation with high voltage. This automatic procedure is to ensure achievement of operating temperature of the tube and the test for dielectric strength. Treatment of patients is only possible if all tests were successful.

- permanent monitoring
A built-in ionisation chamber monitors the beam quality and shuts down on failure. The highly stabile HT-transformer regulates tube voltage and tube current permanently within the tightest tolerances. The HT -transformer detects faults automatically, turns on the error logs in plain text and switches off for safety in case of failure. The interlock circuit monitors the external conditions and faults reports permanently.

- cyclic quality testing
A specially designed testing device for the constancy test enables rapid and reproducible detection of the parameters and radiation dose rates of the used beam quality. The device has a PMMA body with two measuring points for the Farmer chamber and can be inserted directly into the tube holder of our equipment systems T-160, T-200 und T-300.

 


Our systems T-105, T-160, T-200 und T-300 assure absolute reproduceable parameters for the application of different beam qualities.
